Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in alignment with the agreed strategy.
- Take responsibility for sales, revenue, profit margin, and customer engagement within the designated area, striving to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all customers and key accounts in the defined region to ensure optimal product positioning.
- Expand existing business and actively seek new growth opportunities.
- Provide estimates of potential pipeline, new prospects, and a clear development strategy for each customer.
- Ensure regular communication and visits to key accounts to uphold high service standards.
- Collaborate across departments to swiftly resolve specific customer issues, acting as an effective crisis manager when necessary.
- Adhere to companies Contract Review Process.
- Work alongside the marketing team to create industry-specific and customer-centric marketing initiatives that drive business growth.
- Track and analyze market trends where relevant.
Requirements
- Must have Sales expertise in C&I and/or utility-scale; residential expertise only will be insufficient.
- At least 10 years of experience in sales management within a similar role, ideally with Lithium-Ion Battery Solutions.
- Proven ability to develop strong customer relationships and negotiate effectively.
- Deep understanding of key account growth strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales at a higher level; knowledge of the Energy Storage Systems (ESS) market.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all relevant products and applications.
- Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
- Capability to draft clear and insightful reports on customer interactions.
- Strong IT proficiency, including expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
