Start: 01.03.2026 – Part‑time 65 % – Salary: Remuneration level 13 TV‑L – Fixed‑term (3 years).
Responsibilities
- Conceptualise and execute quantitative research, independently and collaboratively.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary international research team.
- Publish results in international peer‑reviewed journals.
- Participate in national and international scientific conferences and congresses.
- Further develop AG 3 research agenda.
- Support Working Group 3 in applying for funding.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (or comparable) in health or social sciences.
- Proven experience with empirical quantitative research in health sciences/public health, social epidemiology, medical sociology, sociology, gender studies or a related area (e.g. theses or presentations).
- Strong knowledge of quantitative methods (statistical procedures, modelling).
- Proficient in quantitative analysis software (e.g. R, Stata).
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Clear analytical thinking and the ability to familiarize oneself with new topics.
- Ability to work independently, in a team and interdisciplinarily.
- Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines in a demanding environment.
- Willingness to work in an intercultural environment.
- Knowledge of public health and sociological gender concepts.
- Gender and diversity competence.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good written and spoken German.
- Experience in developing research questionnaires.
- Publication experience or conference contributions.
