A leading global company is looking for a technical expert to manage customer support in the Marine and Railway industries. This role involves solving technical issues, providing training, and collaborating with product teams across Europe. Applicants should have a degree in chemical engineering or chemistry and at least 5 years of experience in relevant fields. Knowledge of English and additional languages would be advantageous. The position offers flexible working conditions, including a hybrid model and extensive benefits.
Serve as the lead technical expert for constructors of cleaning machines (EU region), customers within the Marine Industry and the Railway Market (Western Europe)
Identify customer pain points and convert them into actionable technical solutions
Provide hands‑on support via email, phone, and on‑site visits
Own and resolve customer technical requests directly
Organize and deliver technical training, especially for dedicated “Cleaner Champions”
Act as the go‑to contact for Cleaner Champions across Europe
Collaborate with Product Development, Sales and customers to align technical roadmaps.
Lead product certification processes with relevant authorities (e.g., marine approvals)
Support Business Development and Sales in scaling existing accounts and expanding into new markets
Engineer / Bachelor / Master’s degree in chemical engineering or chemistry
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in industrial environment, ideally in Railway, Marine, or Maintenance Cleaning
Strong organizational and communication skills and a high degree of independence and ownership
Ability to navigate complex, multi-country stakeholder environments
Fluent language skills in English, additional languages as Dutch, German, French, Spanish are a plus
The location of this position is flexible, with a focus on Western Europe / BNF (e.g., Duesseldorf, Brussels, Nieuwegein, Boulogne-Billancourt).
