What will you do?

You will take ownership of MES project delivery from concept to go‑live, acting as the key contact for internal teams and customers alike. Your mix of technical insight and project coordination skills will help our clients digitalize and optimize their production processes.

Your key responsibilities

Lead end-to-end MES projects in production environments.

Coordinate internal teams (consultants, developers, testers) and external stakeholders.

Ensure project goals, timelines, and budgets are achieved.

Conduct workshops, manage documentation, and oversee go‑live phases.

Support project reporting and continuous improvement.

Qualifications that inspire us

Completed IHK Ausbildung or Bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering.

At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally with 10+ in IT, consulting, or production‑related project environments.

3+ years of programming experience and strong technical affinity.

Practical experience with MES or other production‑related software solutions.

Solid production process knowledge, preferably in steel or aluminum industries.

Fluent in German (C1) and English (C1).

Strong communication and leadership skills; consulting experience is a plus.

Familiarity with SQL / PL / SQL and Agile methodologies.

Driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 30‑50%.

Located in NRW or open to relocation within Germany.

A plus is always nice

French language skills.

Experience with Java, Python, or C#.

Prior involvement with PSImetals or recommendation from a client / internal source.

PMI certification or comparable credentials.

Master’s degree in IT or Engineering.
