Summary
High-agency, detail-oriented operator who supports portfolio execution, risk and investment committee workflows, dataroom management, and cross-functional follow-through. Project Execution Associate provides leverage to the VP of Project Execution to ensure risks are identified early, diligence is complete, and projects move efficiently from development to operation.
1. Portfolio & Project Execution Support
- Coordinate with Project Development, Procurement, Construction, Finance, Legal, and other departments to keep companywide execution milestones on track.
- Assist procurement in tracking and managing ITC eligibility documentation (safe harbor, physical work) and maintain audit-ready records.
- Support special projects such as equipment audits, module allocation reconciliations, and compliance checklists.
- Track portfolio KPIs and flag risks, gaps, or improvement opportunities
2. Risk Committee (RC) Support
- Prepare RC agendas, materials, and meeting notes as well as support VP of PE in his coordination with Director of Regulatory Affairs on RC memos.
- Assist in the maintenance of the Project Risk Matrix in coordination with PD (who owns this matrix) and other departments.
- Support red-team analysis: gather data from departmental red-team members, organize dissenting views, and ensure issues are surfaced before submission to the IC.
- Confirm that no major spend or contractual commitments occur before RC review.
3. Investment Committee (IC) Support
- Assemble IC packets including memos, financial snapshots, RC recommendations, and project stage-gate checklists from PD.
- Ensure clarity in IC presentations with well-structured supporting documentation.
- Track IC decisions and coordinate follow-up actions across departments.
4. Capital Deployment & Dataroom Management
- Manage datarooms in Procore and other platforms for diligence processes.
- Assist external counterparties (lenders, investors, buyers) in navigating datarooms and accessing key materials.
- Coordinate responses to diligence requests and maintain accurate, complete documentation.
- Assist Director of Special Projects & Analytics in analytics reporting as needed.
5. Analytics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Assist with the building and maintenance of trackers/dashboards to monitor IC/RC status, KPIs, and risk mitigation progress.
- Standardize templates for memos, checklists, and committee reporting.
- Document lessons learned and help implement process improvements.
- Ensure execution discipline by closing the loop on assigned action items.

Required Education and Experience
- 2+ years of experience in renewable energy project finance, M&A, or energy development with solid understanding of partnerships/ joint ventures / tax equity contract structures.
- 2+ Experience administering construction or solar based contracts or risk/investment committees for a development company.
- Proficient skills using the Microsoft Office suite including extensive SharePoint experience.
- Exceptional verbal and writing communication skills with superiors, peers, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and ever- changing environment.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software as well as SmartSheets or similar diligence management software.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task various and conflicting responsibilities.
- Ability to handle and protect confidential and sensitive information.
