Role summary

StartSteps is seeking to hire a full-time program manager for a role in Berlin (hybrid or remote) to manage our Talent Accelerator programs. This role will be responsible for running a set of our Talent Accelerator programs day to day making sure every cohort starts smoothly stays on track and feels well supported. The role will keep trainers students and stakeholders aligned spot problems early solve them quickly and improve how we run the programs each time we start a new cohort.

We want to empower all of our Program Managers to feel a sense of ownership and pride in the success of our programs.

Tasks

Manage a set of instructor-led online programs for career changers in Germany.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of the course curricula and learning content.
  • Recruit contract and onboard program trainers. Manage trainers throughout the programs with regular check-ins.
  • Lead operations in advance of the program kick-offs with admission processes including student onboarding and contract signing.
  • Manage operations during the programs including program administration reporting and ad-hoc problem solving.
  • Support students during the program with regular check-ins.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders including Agents of the Agentur fur Arbeit and Jobcenter.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to align the program with the needs of the students during and after the programs.
  • Maintain program compliance with AZAV-certification.
Overall Goal of the Role

Ensure an excellent student learning experience through supervision communication and organisation of trainers and students.

Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in the education sector (ideally ASAV-certified provider) with a track record of success in program management and implementation.
  • Strong entrepreneurial skills with the ability to take a program from concept to launch and growth.
  • Strong sense of ownership of processes with an interest to improve our ways of working.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a reliable precise and structured approach to work and an affinity for digital processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish productive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German minimum C1 in both languages.
