A leading logistics provider is seeking a Principal Project Manager for Automation & Innovation in Köln, Germany. This role involves driving the strategic direction of automation solutions, assessing automated systems, and leading collaborations across Europe. The successful candidate will have operational expertise in maintaining large-scale automated systems, experience with data analysis using Power BI, and a flexible approach to travel. Your role as a Principal Project Manager, Automation & Innovation
This is a unique opportunity to join GXO, help to shape and drive the strategic direction of automation solutions and maintenance strategy across the region. We need someone that is a maintenance expert!
Due to travel 50‑75% of the time within Continental Europe, our role can be based in Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany or Poland. Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are a benefit.
Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Automation & Adaptive Technology for Continental Europe.
