We are looking to fill a position for a PhD student (m/f/d)
What to expect:
You will join a third-party funded project entitled “Identification of risk factors and establishment of bioindicators for piglet mortality under organic farming conditions in different pig genotypes (BioFeSt)”, (working groups Nutritional Physiology and Psychophysiology).
In your PhD project you will identify behavioural, physiological and metabolic biomarkers in sows during pregnancy and lactation that can be used as predictors of piglet health outcomes.
This project givesyou the chance to learn from two research groups involved in the fields of nutritional physiology and animal welfare science, with the goal of improving animal welfare without compromising efficiency.
