Job Description

Responsibilities

• Platform management experience, especially with deployments of applications across app servers and Oracle databases; administration expertise of Oracle Database and Sun/Oracle Solaris.
• Environment management: installation and building Oracle Database and Enterprise Server Platforms.
• Installation of databases and applications.
• Environment provisioning: Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, and Cincom Smalltalk applications.
• Extensive knowledge of Web- and Application servers / INET components such as Apache, Tomcat, and Cincom Smalltalk.
• Extensive knowledge of server operating systems SUN / Oracle Solaris.
• Experience in test management and software test concepts; HP ALM software management experience is an added advantage.

Qualifications / Skills

• Experience in platform management and deployments across app servers and Oracle databases.
• Administration expertise in Oracle Database and Sun/Oracle Solaris.
• Proficiency with environment provisioning and configuration management tools for web/application servers (Apache, Tomcat, JBoss).
• Familiarity with Cincom Smalltalk environments.
• Strong understanding of Unix/Linux-like server OS in the Oracle Solaris family.
• Desirable: experience in test management and HP ALM.
