We are looking for a Medical Science Liaison (m / f / d) Rare Diseases Neurology who is agile with a drive to build strong lasting relationships and who has an enthusiastic innovative mindset to come join our Patient Impact Team in Germany.

The MSL role is a field‑based scientific expert within the Rare Diseases Neurology team focusing on rare neurological conditions with you as the leading local scientific expert for UCB in the therapeutic area. The position requires in‑depth knowledge to be an expert in the field. The MSL role includes scientific discussions, presentations, and responses to unsolicited questions. Core content of these discussions will be topics of unmet medical needs which are of scientific / developmental importance to UCB in neurology. You are also involved in feasibility processes around new clinical studies and are the primary contact person for investigators interested in investigator‑initiated research donations grants as well as for developing and executing the medical content of the local ecosystem addition you will build local medical plans, conduct advisory boards and arrange scientific symposiums.
As the MSL Rare Diseases Neurology you are the scientific discussion partner that interacts with national and international Thought Leaders (Key opinion leaders: KOLs) and other healthcare professionals (HCPs) at various phases of the product life cycle. You work externally and internally and closely with an integrated team across functions. You like to work independently with a team player approach and you will report to the Field Medical Lead Neurology.
