Operating at a strategic EMEA regional level within the Customer Marketing function, this role reports directly to the Head of Customer Marketing. It plays a pivotal role in leading EMEA-led vertical campaigns that align with RS Group’s strategic priorities and deliver measurable impact across multiple markets. These campaigns should drive growth in priority sectors and personas, supported by consistent frameworks and data-driven decision‑making.

As a senior member of the team, you will lead a small but growing team of two direct reports, providing coaching, mentorship, and strategic guidance to foster a high‑performing, collaborative, and customer‑centric culture. You will be instrumental in developing their capabilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving continuous improvement across campaign delivery.

What you will be doing
  • Campaign Leadership : Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale, regionally led marketing programmes—from data analysis and shaping strategic briefs that address customer pain points to overseeing full execution. You’ll ensure alignment with priority sectors and customer personas while balancing regional direction with effective local market activation.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration : Partner with subject matter experts and strategic teams—including ESG, brand, and supplier marketing to uncover key insights that strengthen RS’s proposition and drive strategic narratives with strong commercial impact across diverse markets.
  • Local Market Integration : Act as a central connector between regional and local teams, ensuring market nuances, priorities, and customer needs are embedded into campaign planning and execution.
  • Creative Direction : Lead the messaging and creative development process, ensuring briefs are clear, compelling, and actionable for the internal studio. Facilitate ideation sessions that bring together creative, commercial, and local expertise to co‑create impactful campaigns.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Develop and present comprehensive Vertical packs that articulate campaign strategy, creative direction, and execution plans to senior stakeholders across the business.
  • Channel Excellence : Guide the development of campaign assets and content, leveraging your deep understanding of channel best practices to maximise customer engagement and campaign effectiveness.
  • Measurement & Reporting : Provide senior stakeholders with actionable insights by reviewing and presenting campaign performance, illustrating how data‑driven optimisations enhance impact and demonstrating the strategic role of EMEA‑led initiatives in driving sustainable growth and operational excellence.
  • Team Development : Provide day‑to‑day leadership, coaching, and performance management for two direct reports. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
