Qualifikationen

  • Mehrere Jahre Berufserfahrung in einer multinationalen Organisation.
  • Erfahrung in FP&A und Rechnungslegung für Unternehmenscontrolling.
  • Fließendes Englisch erforderlich; Deutsch von Vorteil.

Key responsibilities:

FP&A with a focus on the Headquarters entity of the IFCO Group

Business Performance Reporting & Analysis

  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly results & financial reporting including commentary and insights on the results.
  • Produce monthly reporting packs for senior management and strategic investors in a polished and final format
  • Produce quarterly reporting for the banking community and credit rating agencies
  • Report on key performance indicators to monitor performance and identify new KPI’s critical to managing the business.
  • Responsible for the preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets to ensure the achievement of established objectives and key milestones. This encompasses the planning/forecasting of all financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, CF Statement, FTE)
  • Lead forecast and budget processes for all elements of the plan, ensuring deadlines are met, providing a high standard of analysis and ensuring a consistent and transparent approach.
  • Drive specific finance projects to improve reporting and analysis methodology.

Business Partnering & Support

  • Establish relationships with HQ department heads to deliver reporting support and guidance. Ensure HQ departments are aware of financial forecasts and budget requirements / constraints to effectively manage within these limits.
  • Establish relationships in HQ Management team, specifically within the CFO team and provide support to those functions
  • Drive strategic reporting requirements across a variety of project initiatives as required.

Reporting Systems & Other

  • Assist in the optimisation of the global consolidation & reporting & planning system.
  • Ensure business continuity through reporting timely and relevant information.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses as required.
  • Drive process improvements and enhancements including automation and simplification of planning and reporting processes.

We expect:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Qualification as a Chartered Accountant / similar qualification desired
  • Several years of post-degree working experience in a multinational organisation
  • In depth FP&A and/or accounting experience in a similar organization. Corporate Controlling experience preferred.
  • Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting P&L statement, Balance Sheet, CF Statement, FTEs
  • Expert in preparing financial reports for senior management and in external reporting
  • Strong analytical skills and desire to learn
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask
  • Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain excellent relationships and credibility
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency and proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using ERP applications (SAP preferred)
  • Familiar with and use of group consolidation systems (Oracle/Hyperion HFM/OneStream preferred)
  • English fluent; German nice to have
