Job Description :

Infosys is seeking a Senior Mainframe Developer – In the role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture knowledge and Development. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Candidates must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require relocation and or travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.

Experience in mainframe technology – COBOL, DB2, JCL and CICS

Experience with the tools used in Mainframe Endeavor and CA7

Onsite offshore coordination

Preferred Qualifications:

Should have worked in a full cycle of software development.

Debug and resolve any challenge with the application.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

On-call support on a need basis.

Knowledge in open systems technologies like Java, Oracle.

Ability to work in a team in a diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.

Strong communication and Analytical skills

Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
