International Series Procurement: You will represent the series procurement process in international teams and work on series-relevant topics from the Implants and Disposables product families. This includes life cycle management, task forces, and measures to reduce COGS per product/device, as well as ramp-up/downgrade projects.
Supplier Evaluation and Management: You will assess supplier flexibility, quality, and reliability, and conduct price and value analyses. You will gather all LCM-relevant information to create a clear work package for the lead buyers and ensure timely processing of series procurement tasks.
Project Representation and Interface Function: You will represent Series Procurement in cross functional projects, and you will act as a central interface between series procurement, business unit functions, and operational departments.
Negotiations and Operations: You will implement purchasing measures in lifecycle management (change management, obsolescence) and in change control teams as well as identification of required purchasing tasks (e.g., obtaining offers, supplier selection, negotiations). You will also support in fiscal year planning (e.g. required budget and planned measures) for the Lifecycle Procurement team.
Completed degree in business, engineering, or a comparable qualification
Profound experience in strategic procurement and project management
Experience with problem-solving methods (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, PDCA)
Fluency in English; proficiency in Chinese, French, German, or other European languages is appreciated
Team player with strong communication and negotiation skills in international teams
Excellent knowledge of SAP MM as well as MS Office
This position is a maternity cover for approximately 18 months.
