Our client is a commercial stage biotech delivering transformational medicines within the oncology market. They are seeking to hire an experienced lawyer for a Director level role to lead delivery of legal support across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This role is crucial for supporting the company’s expanding commercialisation strategy in the DACH region and involves providing legal and compliance guidance across multiple business functions.
Role responsibilities : The position involves managing legal activities in the DACH region, advising on commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters, supporting product launches, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key tasks include reviewing promotional materials, contracts, training programs, and ensuring compliance with competition, regulatory, anti-bribery, and data privacy laws.
Requirements : Candidates should have at least six years of relevant legal experience in biotech / pharma, preferably with law firm and in-house backgrounds, and be fluent in German and English. Expertise in rare disease markets and broad commercial and regulatory law knowledge are preferred. A German or Swiss legal qualification is essential.
