Leadership and Management Coach

Remote Based / Salary: £35k - £38k

OVERVIEW

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a quality-focused training provider that delivers training within a number of global companies and household names.

Due to ongoing growth, they are looking to add several new coaches to their apprenticeship delivery teams, specifically recruiting Specialist Leadership and Management Apprenticeship Coaches.

These are home-based roles with some flexibility for travel, although this would be rare.

As an Apprenticeship Coach, you will be a subject matter expert in Leadership and Management, managing a caseload of learners on the Level 5 Management (ODM) and Level 3 Team Leading Standards.

You will deliver knowledge-based workshops, coaching workplace skills, and supporting apprentices to build a robust portfolio of evidence. You will oversee the end-to-end learning journey and be responsible for the learners' experience.

Some Level 5 Management workshops are delivered by specialist trainers in 'Master-Classes'; however, applicants still need to be able to deliver management sessions at this level.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Essential:

  • Relevant professional and delivery experience of management standards, including group delivery
  • Relevant management vocational experience and/or Level 5 Management qualification
  • Experience in curriculum and product design and development
  • Teaching qualification (Level 5 preferred)
  • Level 2 functional skills in maths and English

Desirable:

  • Level 4 IAG qualification
  • Professional coaching qualification

THE ROLE

  • Provide detailed information and guidance following programme appraisal with the enrolment team, setting clear expectations and explaining all aspects of the programme.
  • Identify individual support needs through analysis of initial and diagnostic assessments, collaborating with the Additional Learning Support Specialist if extra support is needed.
  • Deliver knowledge-based workshops to cohorts, equipping learners with the knowledge to succeed and grow in their roles.
  • Set and review SMART targets on training plans with clear guidance and deadlines.
  • Facilitate group specialist workshops, delivering key knowledge elements mapped to the apprenticeship standard.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance, helping learners embed and apply new learning practically.
  • Support learners in gathering high-quality KSB evidence for their portfolios.
  • Assess learners' knowledge, skills, and behaviour regularly against the apprenticeship standard.
  • Ensure learners complete their training within expected timelines.
  • Conduct progress reviews as per contractual requirements and provide updates in line with caseload and performance review cycles.
  • Deliver and achieve functional skills within the first six months, utilizing FS Specialist support.
