Lead Quality Assurance Engineer Cloud/SaaS

Your Impact

As part of a cross-functional team, you will help build and maintain a highly scalable global Public Cloud Service (SaaS) in the field of Enterprise Information Management. You will play a key role in expanding the functionality of our fast-growing cloud platform by developing and continuously delivering new features in an agile environment.

What the Role Offers

• Collaborate closely with fellow engineers in agile Scrum teams
• Define and implement effective quality assurance strategies within monthly software development and delivery cycles
• Contribute to the enhancement of our continuous delivery pipeline
• Design and execute both automated and manual test cases to ensure the highest quality standards for our 24/7 SaaS service
• Integrate new and extended test cases into our test factory engine
• Drive continuous improvement by creatively refining existing processes and procedures

What You Need to Succeed

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Scientific Computing, or a related field; alternatively, a certified IT specialist with a proven track record in enterprise-level software development
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in enterprise-scale environments
• Solid experience in scripting or automation, ideally using Java
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS, and experience with Linux server administration is a plus
• Strong focus on software quality and testing best practices
• Excellent communication skills in German and English both written and spoken
