Your tasks

• Collaboration in the cell culture team for the production of antibodies, Fabs and cytokines for therapeutic purposes (Cologne site)
• Implementation of cell culture of mammalian cells incl. creation, maintenance and characterization of cell banks
• Large-volume production with single-use and stainless steel bioreactors under GMP conditions
• Support with process transfer and establishment of new production processes
• Independent work in accordance with SOPs and GMP specifications
• Participation in process optimization and compliance with quality standards
• Batch documentation in English, incl. creation and maintenance of production documents

Your profile

• Successfully completed training as a BTA, MTA, MTLA or biology laboratory technician
• Practical experience with stirred systems in single-use and/or stainless steel bioreactors, ideally on an industrial scale
• Experience in handling cell cultures and working in a cleanroom is an advantage
• Careful, precise and structured way of working in a regulated environment (e.g. GMP production)
• Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and an independent, well-organized way of working
• Flexibility, accuracy and helpfulness in the daily work routine
• Very good written and spoken German and English – especially for documentation in a GMP environment
