How you’ll make an impact

As a (Junior) Software Tester / QA Engineer (f/m/d) at ACCURIDS, you act as the vital link between our development team and product delivery. You take responsibility for testing activities, ensuring that new features are reliable and user‑friendly before they reach our customers. In this role, you enable faster release cycles by providing immediate feedback to developers, ensuring stability without slowing down innovation.

• Fast Feedback Loops: You test new features immediately after implementation, providing developers with fast, reliable feedback to prevent bottlenecks and keep our release timeline on track.
• Manual & Exploratory Testing: You perform risk‑based exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and validate features against acceptance criteria before they reach production.
• Defect Management: You identify defects early and create clear, actionable bug reports (including reproduction steps and logs), ensuring our developers can fix issues efficiently without unnecessary back‑and‑forth.
• Regression Assurance: You maintain and extend our regression testing suite to ensure that new updates never break existing functionality.
• Proactive Collaboration: You act as a partner to the development team, clarifying requirements and acceptance criteria before testing begins to prevent misunderstandings.
• Future of Automation: As you grow in the role, you identify opportunities for automation and contribute to building automated E2E tests.

What helps you succeed

• Professional Background: You have at least 1-2 years of practical experience in manual software testing or a similar QA role.
• Testing Expertise: You are experienced in writing test cases, executing regression tests, and documenting bugs clearly.
• Technical Tools: You are proficient with Jira and Confluence and comfortable using Browser DevTools (Network tab, Console) to analyse errors.
• Solution Mindset: You are communicative and proactive. You don’t just find problems, you help the team deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Nice‑to‑have: Experience with Test Automation or API Testing is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Language Skills: You are able to communicate clearly and professionally in English, both spoken and written.
