We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Project Manager (m/f/d) to coordinate and efficiently manage the execution of our client projects.

ESQlabs is an innovative, internationally acting Contract Research Organization and a global leader in the development and application of the OSP Suite (www.open-systems-pharmacology.org). We are a research‑focused provider of specialized computational analyses in the life sciences industry.

To help us grow and successfully manage our client projects, we are looking for an experienced, goal‑oriented, and autonomous manager to strengthen our team. A high level of self‑organization is a requirement, allowing you to invest your time and motivation in our mission optimally.

Role

Your primary responsibility is to ensure successful and efficient coordination and execution of our client projects, ensuring their successful progression from initiation to completion. Your ultimate objective is to ensure project teams deliver projects within scope, on time, and within budget while upholding exemplary quality standards and ensuring client satisfaction.

  • Support the day‑to‑day management of multiple concurrent projects from initiation to completion. Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external project‑related communications. Schedule and coordinate meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date project documentation, including statements of work, progress boards, meeting notes, change orders.
  • Ensure the team possesses the necessary knowledge, skills, and expertise to effectively deliver services.
  • Support project report reviews and ensure deliverables meet company quality standards before client submission.
Required skills & experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Project Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience (1-3 years) in project management with a successful track record of managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Highly organized and with proven ability to support project structures, processes, tools, and methods effectively.
  • Hands‑on mentality, proactive, comfortable in dynamic environments, adaptable to change, and committed to maintaining high‑quality standards.
  • Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels, adept in moderating project meetings and workshops confidently.
  • Proficiency in analytical thinking and problem‑solving, solution‑oriented and ownership mindset.
  • Comfortable with working with technical subject matter experts.
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills; German proficiency is a plus.
