As Junior Financial Manager Operations (f/m/d) for Loan Administration you are responsible for the daily servicing of the Credit and Treasury portfolio of Siemens Bank GmbH, the maintenance of Bank accounts and act as contact person for all Operations related topics.

This will be your impact.

  • Your tasks will include all administrative tasks to maintain the credit book of Siemens Bank within our credit management system:
  • Reviewing of syndicated loan documentation
  • Entering contract data into the contract management system
  • Reflecting all events during the lifecycle of our transactions in the system such as loan utilizations, interest rate fixings and all kinds of payments
  • Validation, confirmation and settlement of treasury transactions such as deposit business and refinancing transactions in close alignment with front office
  • Administrate the Nostro accounts of Siemens Bank and always ensure an accurate settlement process
  • Evaluate and reconcile various data reports and provide results to other departments
  • Act as point of contact for external agent banks, our own Nostro Banks as well as internal and external auditors
  • Collaboration with other internal departments like Asset and Liability Management, Credit Risk Management, Risk Controlling, Financial Accounting and Regulatory Reporting
  • Support efficiency increase through the automation of manual processes, the use of AI where possible and the critical review of the tools currently in use
This is how you'll win us over:
  • Education:
  • University degree in Economics / Business Administration ideally with focus on finance or comparable education
  • Alternatively, you have gained several years of professional experience in the banking or the financial services environment with a focus on loan administration
  • Experience & Skills:
  • Initial experience in project work would be preferable
  • We expect you to have a basic knowledge in using the most common Microsoft Office applications, experience with Power Apps, Power BI and Power Automate is a plus
  • First experience with low-code and automation tools would be beneficial
  • Ways of working: A strong teamwork ethic, good organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail characterize your way of working
  • Languages: Business proficiency in German and English
