Overview

Verisure Deutschland is seeking a talented and driven Accountant (m / w / d) to join our Finance team. This role will be based in our Headquarters in Ratingen-Düsseldorf.

Main Responsibilities

• Support in the preparation of monthly / quarterly / annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS
• Posting of current business transactions in accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger accounts
• Support of the accounting manager in the preparation of documents for internal as well as external audit review
• Preparation of reconciliations for Balance Sheet accounts
• Prepare and ensure compliance with legally required reports (such as Statista) as well as VAT declarations
• Internal Controls
• Close cooperation with the controlling department and in direct reporting line to the accounting manager
• Processing of administrative tasks in day-to-day business

Profile & Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Proven experience in Accounting (12 years).
• Team spirit, flexibility and a high level of commitment.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good command of the common MS Office products, especially advanced proficiency in Excel; proficiency with Oracle is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English is required; German is a strong plus.
