• Perform software engineering tasks across the full development lifecycle, including design, implementation, unit testing, and integration testing
• Take responsibility for software and interface design, considering feasibility, reusability, maintainability, safety, performance, and IT security
• Ensure compliance with applicable software and aircraft development standards
• Actively embrace agile methodologies, drive process improvements, and contribute to automation
• Foster collaboration within the project team and with all involved stakeholders

Profil

• Master's degree or Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
• At least 3 years of aerospace experience
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on development experience in object‑oriented programming (preferably in aerospace or defense)
• Ideally experience with the Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) and threat/sensor analysis
• English at negotiation level; German skills preferred
• Knowledge of GIS systems or military applications
• Strong understanding of modern Java ecosystem technologies and practical experience applying them
• Proficiency with source code management systems (e.g., Git, SVN)
• Strong skills in UML, object‑oriented design, and design patterns
