Position Summary:

The Data and Systems Analyst plays a critical role in driving informed decision-making across Horizon Recovery and affiliated programs. This position is responsible for extracting, auditing, analyzing, and reporting data from multiple internal systems including the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, survey tools, and outcome tracking platforms. The analyst will provide actionable insights to support clinical operations, the admissions department, and the alumni program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate integration, updates, and other software system customization needs. Act as the primary contact for updates to forms, fields, or processes, coordinating with third-party vendors as needed.
  • Analyze data from sources such as EMR, CRM, surveys, and follow-up platforms.
  • Conduct regular audits of client records to ensure completeness and accuracy of data points.
  • Identify and address missing, incomplete, or inconsistent data across platforms.
  • Follow up with relevant staff to rectify data issues and ensure compliance.
  • Create and maintain automated and ad hoc reports for decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for automation to increase efficiency.
  • Recommend and assist in implementing new tools or process improvements.
  • Track key outcome and operational metrics, including patient acuity, authorization trends, outcome measures, and lead conversion rates.
  • Develop dashboards, visualizations, and summaries to communicate insights.
  • Respond to data requests from leadership with reports and analyses.
  • Assist departments in interpreting data for improvements.
  • Maintain data quality through audits and validation.
  • Collaborate with IT or vendors to enhance data workflows.

  • Clinical Operations: Support care planning and performance monitoring through data analysis.
  • Alumni Program: Track long-term outcomes and engagement trends.
  • Admissions: Provide insights into lead conversion and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Health Informatics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • At least 5 years of experience in data analytics or systems analysis, preferably in healthcare or behavioral health.
  • Proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and EMR/CRM data extraction.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and behavioral health documentation/outcome measures.
  • Experience in auditing clinical data and resolving data issues.
  • Ability to automate reports and improve system efficiency.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with behavioral health or outcome tracking.
  • Familiarity with survey platforms like SurveyMonkey or Qualtrics.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of SQL or other query languages is a plus.

This is a full-time, 100% remote position. Salary: $6/hr.
