Job description

You will be responsible for further developing and leading the research group “Coated and Printed Perovskite Photovoltaics.” Your tasks include:

  • Research on scalable solution-based fabrication processes for perovskite semiconductor layers (slot-die coating, inkjet printing, screen printing)
  • Coordination of contributions to the national and European collaboration projects (e.g. HYPER and TIPSTAR) as well as related activities at IMT / KCOP and InnovationLab in Heidelberg
  • Publication of research results
  • Acquisition of new research projects and industry collaborations
  • Supporting activities in teaching
  • Staff management, supervision of Master’s theses, and co-supervision of PhD candidates

Personal qualification
  • A university degree (Master’s) and a completed PhD in electrical engineering, physics, chemistry, materials science, or a related field
  • Expertise in optoelectronics, semiconductor physics, photovoltaics, and fabrication of perovskite thin-film solar cells from liquid phase
  • Project management skills
  • Experience in publishing scientific papers
  • Ability to work in a team and guide PhD candidates and students
