A leading snacks producer in Düsseldorf seeks a Group Packaging Expert Corrugated to develop innovative and sustainable packaging solutions. As Group Packaging Expert Corrugated, you will play a key role in shaping the future of corrugated packaging across the Intersnack Group. In this expert position, you will be responsible for the development and implementation ofinnovative, efficient, and sustainable packaging solutions– from concept through to industrial application – serving ourdiverse brands and markets across Europe and supporting global initiatives.
You will be part of our international teambased in Düsseldorf, a strategic location at the heart of the Intersnack Group.
Develop and optimize corrugated packaging concepts with a focus on sustainability, cost-efficiency and quality
Manage international packaging projects from initial idea to full-scale implementation
Standarize and harmonize corrugated packaging portfolio across all markets and sites
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Sustainability, Procurement, Marketing, Quality, Engineering and local packaging experts
Identify packaging risks, deliver expert assessments, and provide technical documentation and best practices
Monitor industry trends and actively contribute to the packaging strategy and innovation
Prepare management reports and drive continuous improvement in packaging standards across the Group
As a Global expert in corrugated, you own the development of the category at Group level
Several years of technical experience in corrugated packaging, ideally within the FMCG or food industry
Experience managing international packaging projects and working in cross-functional environments
Degree in Packaging Technology, Paper Engineering, or a comparable technical field are a plus
Proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a structured, solution-oriented approach
Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
Willingness to travel internationally up to 50%
