Your mission

Do you think visually and enjoy translating complex ideas into clear, engaging design? Are you excited by the chance to build the visual identity of a young organisation at the heart of Europe’s AI ecosystem? We’re looking for a hands-on Graphic & Multimedia Designer (m / f / x) to join our Marketing & Communications team.

You will create visual content that brings our mission and activities to life: from event materials and publications to social media assets and infographics. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the Institute to ensure our design output is consistent, creative, and impactful—helping us reach partners, policymakers, journalists, and the wider public. Your main responsibilities will be:

1. Design for Events - Create on-brand event materials, from stage visuals to programmes, roll-ups, and digital banners.
2. Publications & Reports – Design layouts, infographics, and visuals for reports, whitepapers, and other publications.
3. Social Media Content - Produce engaging visual assets (static and motion graphics) for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other channels.
4. Brand Development - Contribute to evolving and maintaining our brand guidelines across all formats.
5. Multimedia Creation - Support video editing, simple animations, or interactive assets for digital channels.
6. Collaboration – Work closely with the Marketing & Communications team to translate messages into effective visuals.

Your profile

• Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia Design, or equivalent training.
• At least 5 years’ professional experience as a designer, ideally in a communications, marketing, or agency environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with both print and digital design.
• Proficiency with Figma, Canva, and other design tools.
• Experience creating assets for social media and digital campaigns.
• Ability to translate complex topics into clear, accessible visuals.
• Fluent in German or English, with good working knowledge of the other.
