Title : Global Category Manager Car Fleet& Facilities

Reports to : Jens Sjborg Head of IndirectProcurement KONE

Global Indirect Purchasing is a category management ledorganization driving cross-functional teams developing andimplementing category strategies and driving continuesimprovements.

We are now seeking a highly skilled and motivatedprofessional to join our team as a : Global Category Manager CarFleet & Facilities

If youre an experienced category management professional whothrives on complex supplier relationship management (SRM) supplierstrategy and delivering commercial impact at a global scale thisis the role for this role youll globally build strongrelationships with key business stakeholders and influence demandmanagement for the Car Fleet & Facilities categories. Youllalso globally lead category development sourcing executionenhancing supplier performance and driving innovations andsustainability.

To succeed in the role you are expected to increase valueacross the categories and improve relationships both internally andexternally. Ultimately we strive to work proactively so that wecan better meet demand deliver simpler and better processes andwhere necessary find new suppliers that further increase this together to be the easiest to work for and workwith .

This global role will work close with the business and keystakeholders around the world and include up to 25% traveltime.

Main responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and implementing global Car fleetand Facilities category strategies in alignment with KONE overallstrategy and business priorities
• Lead and involve cross-functional category teamwork and team toensure buy-in and end-to-end implementation of category strategiesin functions and business lines.
• Develop and execute SRM strategy to improve relationships withsuppliers reduce costs enhance quality and sustainability andenable KONE to gain competitive advantage.
• Acting as subject matter expert in categories for anyneeds.
• Executing global transformation programs based on the Categorystrategies and business plans
• Driving change management and innovation with strategicsuppliers and the business
• Captures category best practices processes and standardsproviding guidance to ensure these best practices are implementedacross the category and regions continuously improving ways ofworking
• Responsible for identifying initiate and implement cost savingopportunities to ensure savings targets are met
• Track governance and compliance against category strategy bymanagers and local teams

Requirements for the role

• A masters degree in supply chain management businessadministration or a related field.
• 10 years skills and experience in Sourcing or Operations orrelevant business. Min 3-5 years of experience within Car Fleet& Facilities
• Proven experience in successfully managing cross-functional CarFleet & Facilities related projects demonstrating project andchange management skills and knowledge
• Knowledge from field service or elevator industry or similarbusiness is an asset
• Proficiency in Procurement and Sourcing strategies includingsupplier evaluation negotiation and contract management
• In-depth understanding of project management methodologiestools and best practices
• Vast experience in change and a stakeholder management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for assessingmarket trends optimizing category plans and managing projectcomplexities
• Strategic thinking and high level of business acumen
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong leadership skills experience of leading both directreporting team and matrix organizations
• Fluent in English both spoken and written
