Overview

Simiver is an international company active in different industries. For one of our brands, we are looking for a freelance Project Manager (VAT registered), German speaker, to support the scouting and evaluation of new technical partners in Germany.

Project duration: approx. 1-2 months starting immediately.

Responsibilities
  • Scouting & research: Identify potential new partners (AV industry) through active search
  • Initial qualification: Evaluate potential partners against predefined criteria and organise them in a complete database.
  • Database management: Build and maintain a structured database of partners with key characteristics and evaluation notes.
  • Partner engagement: Manage first contact, conduct introductory calls, and organize follow-up meetings.
  • On-site visits: Carry out short business tours (3–4 days) to meet potential partners in person, together with the technical manager.
  • Testing phase: Support the first trial collaboration in real project conditions.
  • Negotiation support: Participate in defining agreements and commercial terms alongside the technical manager.
Required Skills & Preferences
  • German speaker + fluent English (spoken and written).
  • Strong background in procurement, supplier management, or business development in international contexts.
  • Preferable: knowledge / experience with AV technical equipment or event services.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Precision, negotiation ability, and excellent communication skills.
  • High degree of independence: able to carry the scouting project forward autonomously, with minimal supervision.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and goal-oriented (able to manage the process independently).
