Overview

Noor is a 2x founder, raised $6M from Google Ventures just one day after founding xoxo and raised $300M for his previous company with 16M customers, more than 5B video views and more than $20M paid to creators and $400M to brands.

This is a true senior, founding role for a back-end software engineer with 10+ years of experience, and a record of building scalable backend systems and strong proficiency in our stack (Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, React, TypeScript). You should be comfortable architecting and owning core backend services for AI-driven social platforms and have a track record of scaling consumer-facing applications to millions of users. Bonus points if you have direct experience building social applications, working with video/real-time streaming, or a strong interest in AI-driven consumer products.

What you\'ll do

• Architect & Build: Design, build, and own the core backend services and infrastructure for our AI-driven social platform from the ground up.

• Lead Full-Stack Development: Drive the end-to-end development process with a primary focus on backend systems (Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL) while maintaining a strong command of the frontend (React, TypeScript).

• Engineer for AI: Build the high-throughput, low-latency data pipelines required to capture massive volumes of user interactions in real-time, feeding directly into our sophisticated ML recommendation models.

• Design for Scale: Architect a robust, resilient, and highly available technical stack capable of supporting millions of users and capable of reliably scaling to #1 App Store spot.
