  • Ensure compliance with HGB and US GAAP, national, and international financial regulations and standards.
  • Periodical account reconciliation performance.
  • Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Optimize processes, ERP flows and financial reporting tools including process improvements.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of German HGB accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE, Power BI Dynamics).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis tools, and financial modeling.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
What we offer
  • A permanent full-time position (37 hours per week)
  • A responsible and performance-based salary, including Christmas and vacation bonuses
  • Flat hierarchies and transparent communication for quick and direct decision-making
  • A first-name culture – from apprentices to the managing director
  • A great team of experienced specialists in a steadily growing company
  • Up to 7 additional days off (“bridge days”) – we’re happy to work one extra hour per week for that
  • Referral bonus program for recommending new employees
  • Fun at team events, summer parties, and year-end celebrations
  • Participation in bike leasing (after one year of employment)
  • Company pension scheme
  • Monthly benefit voucher worth €50 – flexible and easy to use
