We are offering an exciting opportunity for the position of Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Europe & MEA. In this position, you will play a crucial role to provide high-quality support to our CFO, and are responsible for ensuring smooth communication, and delivery of daily operations that drive efficiency and impact on our regional finance community and engage with the board of directors and senior management teams. Responsibilities
  • Manage the CFO’s calendar, prioritize requests, resolve conflicts, and ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as expense reports, correspondence preparation, and travel arrangements.
  • Act as a gatekeeper and facilitator, providing direct access to the CFO's time and office.
  • Communicate on behalf of the CFO with stakeholders and others regarding programmatic initiatives.
  • Keep the CFO informed of commitments and anticipate their needs for meetings and conferences.
  • Prepare materials and presentations to support the CFO's diverse workload, including quarterly townhalls.
  • Handle and prioritize incoming issues directed to the CFO, especially sensitive and confidential matters, and determine the appropriate response accordingly.
  • Organize agendas and follow-ups for Senior Finance Team Meetings and coordinate offsite/onsite meetings.
What we need from you
  • Ideally 3 to 5 years of experience as an executive assistant, supporting C-Level executives in a global organization.
  • Experience in calendar management, travel arrangements, expense claims, and maintaining a smooth daily operation for senior executives.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, and external partners.
  • Resourceful team player who can also work independently with high effectiveness.
  • Proven ability to manage confidential information discreetly while providing top-notch service to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Track record of achieving performance goals and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in event management/hospitality or similar
  • German is a plus
  • Location: Cologne/Bonn region
