In this position, you will be part of the EAF Markets, which handles sales in Europe, Africa, and France in over ten countries and working in one cluster with Benelux and Switzerland. You will be responsible for the group sales and event production for the German market.

Job overview

As a Meeting & Events Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Sales approaches and finalising bookings for group sales
  • Liaising the sales with the resort
  • Event planning with the resort and the client (agency & direct client)
  • Meetings & Events back-office work

You will be part of the German Meetings & Events Department and report to the Meetings & Events Manager.

Main missions
  1. Managing administrative and logistic aspects of group sales
    • Creation of proposals and present those to clients (digital & in person).
    • Issue the contract, send invoices and follow-up payments.
    • Creation of options and bookings in the reservation system NA and track account data in Salesforce.
    • Consolidate files for the preparation of final invoices based on the village debtor statements received on the group's return.
  2. Ensure the Group production according to the Meetings & Events Processes
    • After Sales: manage the customer relationship.
    • Keeping the tool Salesforce updated.
    • Organizing and regular updates in real time of rooming list, stay, transport and services in the appropriate IT tools (NA / Production Portal...).
  3. Organize trip together with the client
    • Communicate to the client all information about the resorts.
    • Draft detailed group programs with the clients, assess possibilities with resort teams, finalize the program, send it to the resort and brief the teams on site.
    • Being the responsible project manager for the group and acting as the interface between the customer and the different Club Med departments (revenue management, resort team, transport etc.).
    • If needed, joining the group on site to ensure a smooth event.
Skills and competencies we're looking for

Education level
Apprenticeship or Bachelor level (Hotel / Event / Tourism / Business Administration)

Experience
- Sales skills & experience in the sales back office
- Event management skills
- Experience in a Club Med village or on-site experiences in hotels are a plus

Skills
- You have skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

- You have a digital mindset to be a fast learner in our daily used tools (e.g. NA, Portail de Production, Salesforce)

- You are client oriented and have argumentative and communicative skills.

- You have knowledge in Club Med range of services and products is a plus, B2B or B2C sales, MICE market and standard accounting.

Languages

You speak German and English (fluent), French and /or Spanish are a plus
