Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
- 2–4 years of proven experience in solar PV system design and electrical engineering.
- Proficiency in design and simulation software (AutoCAD, PVSyst, Helioscope, or similar).
- Solid understanding of electrical standards, safety codes, and grid interconnection requirements.
- Background in Australian Real Estate, with knowledge of property-related requirements and standards.
- Ability to work with the Zoom camera open during shift

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and innovative Engineer with a background in Solar Design to join our team. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing solar PV systems using advanced design software. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop solar PV system layouts, electrical single-line diagrams, and wiring schematics.
- Use design software (AutoCAD, PVSyst, Helioscope, SketchUp, etc.) to prepare technical drawings and simulations.
- Perform site assessments, feasibility studies, and energy yield analysis.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Coordinate with project managers, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver accurate designs on time.
- Review and validate electrical designs for accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide technical support during project execution and commissioning.
- Stay updated on emerging solar technologies, design tools, and industry trends.
- Willingness to undergo and pass background check as a condition of employment (consent form will be provided to shortlisted candidates)
- Willingness to provide an NBI clearance
