The role combines linguistic excellence, content strategy and market growth. You ensure that all localized content is culturally relevant, accurate and tailored to enhance user experience. From refining style guides and glossaries to optimizing SEO and ASO performance, your expertise directly influences how users discover, engage with and return to Headout.

Responsibilities
  • Own the full localized experience in your language across all platforms and marketing channels. You will ensure linguistic quality, cultural relevance and consistency by defining and maintaining style guides, terminology, tone and linguistic standards.
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to refine MT output, improve style consistency, detect recurrent quality issues and optimize language workflows.
  • Conduct linguistic QA and audits (including MT post‑editing, content assessments and in‑app LocQA) while identifying root causes of quality problems and proposing improvements.
  • Drive SEO and ASO performance through keyword research, metadata optimization and localized content enhancements to improve visibility and organic growth.
  • Create, adapt and optimize localized marketing and UX copy, running A/B tests and using effective workflows to increase engagement and conversions.
  • Track language KPIs and performance metrics using analytics tools (e.g., Looker) to identify opportunities, guide priorities and refine the language strategy.
  • Co‑manage and mentor freelancers, providing guidance, feedback and training to maintain consistency, improve output quality and scale best practices.
  • Represent your language in cross‑functional collaboration, partnering with Content, Product, Performance and Marketing teams to align priorities and ensure language needs and UX considerations are incorporated into planning and execution.
Qualifications
  • Dutch native speaker with excellent English communication skills.
  • 3 years of experience in marketing, translation, localization or copywriting.
  • Solid SEO knowledge, preferably with experience in keyword research and performance monitoring.
  • Experience working with TMS like XTM, CMS and localization workflows.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting content performance metrics (preferably using Looker or similar tools).
  • Proven ability to drive market growth by optimizing language assets and improving workflows.
  • Strong communication and project‑management skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional processes.
