  • Responsible for all aspects of the performance management and professional development of the team, including recruitment, development plans, providing constructive feedback, appraisals and exit processes

  • Compliance with and implementation of legal and operational requirements regarding occupational health and safety within your own area of responsibility.
  • Define and execute a global in-store technology strategy aligned with PUMA’s brand vision, D2C ambition, and commercial objectives
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of all in‑store application and experience‑layer technology solutions (POS software, clienteling, in-store digital experiences), from concept through rollout and optimization
  • Partner closely with Retail, Markets, Operations, Infrastructure and Store Excellence teams to understand local store needs, operational realities, and regional nuances
  • Drive a global in-store technology roadmap and backlog, balancing scalability with market-specific requirements
  • Act as the key business-facing technology leader for retail stores, ensuring solutions deliver measurable value for store teams and consumers.
In-Store Consumer & Associate Experience Enablement
  • Enable seamless, intuitive, and frictionless in-store consumer journeys, from assisted selling and checkout to omnichannel services (CnC, RiS, SfS, endless aisle)
  • Design and evolve technology that empowers store associates with the right tools, data, and insights to deliver premium consumer experiences
  • Ensure tight integration between in-store systems and digital commerce platforms to support a true omnichannel experience
  • Leverage store-level data and feedback to continuously improve in-store experiences and operational efficiency.
Store Systems, POS & Device Ecosystem
  • Own the global POS strategy, including hardware, software, payments, and integration with upstream and downstream systems
  • Define standards for store applications and digital tooling(clienteling solutions, mobile POS software, digital signage), ensuring reliability, usability, and scalability
  • Partner with IT Infrastructure and Security to ensure store technologies meet global standards, performance, stability, and compliance requirements.
Global Standards & Scalable Execution
  • Establish global principles, architectures, and standards for in-store technology while enabling local flexibility where it creates value
  • Lead global rollouts and upgrades, coordinating with Markets, Retail Operations, and Change teams to ensure smooth adoption
  • Drive adoption through strong change management, training enablement, and clear communication with store teams.
  • Manage strategic technology partners and vendors in the retail technology ecosystem
  • Continuously scan the market for emerging retail technologies and innovations that can enhance store performance and consumer engagement
  • Define KPIs and success metrics for in-store technology initiatives, tracking value creation and continuously optimising solutions.

10–15 years of experience in retail technology, D2C, or large-scale enterprise technology environments, with strong exposure to physical retail and store operations

Proven track record owning in-store technology landscapes (POS, payments, store devices) and delivering multi-market store rollouts

Solid understanding of omnichannel integration between physical retail and digital commerce platforms

Strong ability to balance global standards with local market needs in complex, international organisations

Experienced people leader with a history of leading global teams and influencing senior retail and technology stakeholders

Pragmatic, outcome-driven leader with a strong focus on reliability, adoption, and store-level impact.
