Workplace

In the Research & Development Technology Center Drives in Euskirchen, we develop future propulsion technology for Miele. We create long-term product and platform strategies, bringing new drive solutions from concept to serial production, working closely with all business units and manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities

  1. Design components and assemblies for electrical drives in household appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, or vacuum cleaners.
  2. Collaborate with the development team to create innovative and functional solutions for new products.
  3. Coordinate technical requirements directly with suppliers and internal departments.
  4. Consider manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and part production requirements during design.
  5. Create manufacturing-ready designs, 3D models, and technical drawings using CATIA 3DX.

Qualifications

  1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.
  2. Practical experience in designing technical assemblies.
  3. Proficiency in CATIA 3DX and SAP.
  4. Knowledge of materials engineering and manufacturing-oriented design.
  5. Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
