Overview

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Data Privacy Ambassador (f/m/d) to help drive the data privacy standards for marketing by applying our operating model and data privacy practices. The role offers a flexible and dynamic environment with opportunities to grow personally and professionally. Mobility within Germany up to an average of 60% of working hours can be discussed with the manager. Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year in select countries and under certain conditions.

Your responsibilities

As Data Privacy Ambassador you coordinate and support the implementation and maintenance of Data Privacy (DP) requirements in your area of responsibility through the following activities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for your business for DP-related questions and respond within established guidance; act as the point of contact for local DPAs of their BA/BL or Function in case they are in a central function.
  • Maintain the Data Privacy standards, including registering and reviewing DP governance and controls for marketing technology.
  • Coordinate within the business/function and drive fact-finding in case of an incident to support Data Privacy in the data breach handling process and provide LC DP with the filled-out fact-finding sheet.
  • Support the Head of Marketing in the DP assessment and in performing necessary spot checks.
  • Assist the business in conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and coordinate final clearance by the Legal Counsel department’s Data Privacy (LC DP) team.
  • Cascade information from Data Privacy to the business and contribute to best-practice sharing and regular updates to the Head of Marketing on current DP topics and risks in their area of responsibility.
  • Support customer DP audits and certifications for products/services related to their area of responsibility.
  • Stay up to date on relevant DP regulation to evolve DP practices for marketing in partnership with LC DP and marketing teams; attend internal trainings by LC DP.
  • Help communicate and educate marketers on DP guidelines, controls and processes.
Your qualifications and experience
  • Many years of professional experience in data privacy, particularly European GDPR within CRM, Marketing or Communications.
  • Extensive knowledge/experience in the data privacy realm of large multi-national corporations.
  • Demonstrable experience in stakeholder management.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (German is desirable).
  • Ability to lead project teams confidently and persuade others.
