As a Community Strategist at Girls Behind the Rock Show (GBTRS), you will play a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant and inclusive online community within the Girl Behind The Rock Show Resource/Networking Facebook group (Europe). Collaborating closely with the Community Director and Events team, you will also be responsible for conceptualizing and organizing community events that engage and empower our members.

Key Responsibilities:

Facebook Group Management:

• Approve and manage membership requests for the Girl Behind The Rock Show Resource/Networking Facebook group (EU).
• Monitor discussions, chats, and posts to ensure they align with both GBTRS Guidelines and Facebook Guidelines.
• Foster a welcoming and respectful atmosphere within the group.

Community Guidelines Enforcement:

• Ensure that comments and discussions within the group adhere to GBTRS Guidelines and Facebook Guidelines.
• Address any inappropriate behavior or content promptly and professionally.

Event Coordination:

• Collaborate with the Events team to conceptualize and organize engaging and inclusive events for the community.
• Work closely with the Discord manager to coordinate events within the Discord platform, encouraging active participation and interaction among members.

Strategic Planning:

• Develop and execute a community strategy aligned with the GBTRS’ goals and objectives
• Identify and prioritize opportunities for community-driven initiatives and projects.
• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of community initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Facebook and Discord.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience in community management, event planning, or related fields is a plus.

- Familiarity with the music or entertainment industry is a bonus.

- Ability to enforce community guidelines effectively while maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
