Responsibilities

• Produce detailed drawings, plan sets, and volume calculations for various disciplines including landfills
• Communicate with Project Managers and Senior Engineers on a constant basis about project work and designs
• Listen and understand the questions and be able to provide the best possible solution for implementation
• Responsible for providing design assistance for all production assignments, doing research to solve design problems and working with other resources to streamline processes
• Develop design concepts and create project design deliverables from sketches, written and/or verbal instructions
• Apply judgment and make decisions with respect to deliverables and input interpretation
• Ensure that the design concept and deliverables are complete and meet company or client requirements, applicable codes, and standards
• Make revisions to project drawings marked up by Project Manager and/or Engineer
• Create and manage electronic document file structure, naming convention in accordance with company or client standards
• Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to set-up and manage contract and construction drawings
• Create and/or modify base drawings, which may be used in a variety of presentation documents
• Can be relied on as a productive team member and AutoCAD user to work a typical set of project documents from beginning to end with professional quality output that conforms to company and client standards
• Must be able to work on multiple projects at the same time in different locations and states
• Follow CAD standards
• Check final drawing to verify completeness, clarity and accuracy of drawing
