We are immediately seeking a Business Controller / Business Analyst (m/w/d) for our corporate division in Cologne and Duisburg.

Your responsibilities

• You create reports, analyses, and recommendations, supporting management in evaluating business transactions and decisions.
• You prepare business cases and profitability calculations and monitor measures to optimize company results.
• You develop budgets, forecasts, and medium-term plans, along with economic analyses and scenarios.
• You design and further develop the KPI system and analyze and discuss KPIs with business units.
• You participate in strategic projects such as M&A and investment decisions.
• You conceptualize and develop BI and controlling systems further.
• You support the promotion and implementation of automation and digitalization potentials.
• You work closely with locations to intensify coordination with operational units, thereby strengthening the direct link to operational management.

Your profile

• You have completed vocational training or a degree in economics with a focus on controlling.
• You have several years of experience in controlling.
• You possess strong numerical skills, high quality standards, and analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
• Your hands-on mentality and strong communication skills enable you to actively contribute to change.
• Your strengths include independent working, commitment, and teamwork.
• You have a high IT affinity and good knowledge of S/4HANA, BI tools (e.g., Power BI), and Office365; experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is desirable.
