Associate Lecturer - German Language Teacher- Freelancer

This is a freelance role delivering at our Berlin Centre. This is an Associate engagement, offered on a freelancer contract basis. Hourly rate: from €53.70 for Blended Learning.

Applicants must reside in Germany to be eligible for this role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver at our Berlin Centre, teaching Arden University blended learning students using a range of innovative learning materials and resources.
• Demonstrate experience teaching German as a Foreign Language, delivering student-centred teaching approaches.
• In line with our focus on communicative, action-oriented language teaching, create an engaging environment for students to play an active and autonomous role in learning.
• Demonstrate native-level German language skills and high intercultural competence as prerequisites for cooperation.
• Hold a German as a Foreign Language or German as a Second Language degree and demonstrable teaching experience.

About You / Qualifications

• Teaching qualification such as the International House Certificate in Teaching German as a Foreign Language or the EUROLTA Certificate for Teaching German to Adults, along with an undergraduate degree.
• Master’s degree (or current progress toward one) is also expected.
• Experience teaching in online and face-to-face settings is desirable, especially within blended or virtual learning environments using platforms like Moodle or Blackboard.
