About the Role

The Assistant Marketing Manager will support the Senior Marketing Manager in developing marketing calendars and executing strategic and innovative programs aimed at increasing sales and strengthening brand equity.

The role is based in the Cologne office (Germany) and involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams including franchisee communities, external agencies, purchasing and operations teams. Performance will be measured through KPIs, consumer insights, and the successful rollout of national and regional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Campaign Execution
  • Execute regional (EMEA) campaigns for DACH, including POP materials, technical setups, franchisee communications, and related deliverables.
  • Support additional markets as needed.
Value Strategy
  • Support the marketing leadership team in driving traffic objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of value-driven offers across multiple channels.
Project & Cross‑Functional Management
  • Manage, track, and communicate progress on marketing initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support broader marketing projects or lead individual marketing initiatives as assigned.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business.
  • 2–6 years of experience in foodservice, retail, franchising, or relevant agency/corporate brand marketing roles in Germany.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure; comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Self‑motivated, articulate, and committed to delivering high‑quality work.
  • Adaptable and collaborative team player.
  • Strong influencing abilities and strategic thinking.
  • Passionate about the food industry and the broader retail landscape.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
