• in owning and scaling the Looker platform across multiple business domains
• by acting as the central expert for Looker governance, performance, and best practices
• in mentoring analysts and business users in LookML development and dashboarding
• by enabling self-service analytics while maintaining model quality and data integrity
• in optimizing Looker and BigQuery for performance and cost-efficiency
• by establishing scalable workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
• in collaborating with Data Engineers to design trusted, high-performing data models
• as the go-to partner for business teams across Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and Controlling

You'll have

• deep knowledge of LookML modeling, Looker governance, and performance tuning
• strong experience with SQL and BigQuery in the context of enterprise reporting
• a solid background supporting cross-functional business domains in a data environment
• proven skills in mentoring, stakeholder communication, and platform enablement
• experience managing Looker as a platform and implementing governance frameworks
• a structured and independent working style, with a strong team spirit
• very good written and spoken English skills; German is a plus
