As Accounting Lead (part-time, all genders), you are responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely financial operations across Klim, while helping to build a solid foundation for scalable growth. By establishing and maintaining robust accounting processes, internal controls, and compliance frameworks across our international markets, you safeguard Klim’s financial integrity and enable informed decision-making. Your work plays a key role in supporting sustainable business growth and enabling Klim’s expansion into new markets with strong financial governance at its core.

Your profile

Must-have qualifications:

• 4–8 years of professional experience in accounting and/or audit
• A hands-on mindset and willingness to operate across a rapidly scaling organisation
• Fluency in German and English (minimum C1 level in both, written and spoken)
• Strong ownership mentality and readiness to take responsibility for Klim’s financial operations
• Willingness to work from our Berlin office 2–3 days per week

Please note: This is a part‑time position (50–60%).

Your Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical accounting expertise (HGB, IFRS, VAT/tax) combined with hands‑on experience in financial operations, including monthly close, audits, VAT, and cross‑border accounting
• Analytical thinking with the ability to structure complex or ambiguous topics and proactively identify and mitigate financial and process‑related risks
• High level of accuracy and reliability, with a strong sense of ownership and a consistent focus on delivering high‑quality outcomes and smooth operations
• Clear and confident communication with internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, international environment that values adaptability and continuous learning
