A leading technology firm is seeking a Senior Account Manager for the Public Sector in Germany. The role involves managing relationships, developing sales strategies, and engaging with government customers. Successful candidates will have extensive experience in cloud sales and excellent communication skills, fluent in German and English. This full-time position is based in Düsseldorf or other major cities in Germany.

As a Senior Account Manager in our Public Sector team, you will have the exciting opportunity to help support the growth and shape the future of a group of cloud technologies at Amazon Web Services. You will be responsible for supporting and managing a dedicated Public Sector territory by identifying demand for the AWS services in both new and existing Government customers in Germany. Your goal will be to support the AWS business by managing inbound leads, conducting outbound calls, opportunity discovery, account management, pipeline maturation and closing. You possess both a business and technical background that enables you to engage an account at the CxO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. You are a self-starter able to plan, develop and execute a territory plan for German Government (Federal, State and Local). This position is based in Berlin, Munich, Düsseldorf or Frankfurt in Germany.
