FileCloud is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Cloud Developer to join our team in Canada . The role is best suited for recent graduates with internship or co-op experience and up to 2 years of experience who can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive thinking, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a remote environment. You should be comfortable analyzing complex technical challenges, proposing solutions, and owning your tasks while ensuring quality results. The ideal candidate will be eager to grow into an independent and efficient developer in front-end, back-end, or full-stack development. This role is fully remote, requiring collaboration with team members across Canada.

About the Product & Company : FileCloud is a hyper-secure EFSS (enterprise file sync and share) platform that provides compliance, data governance, leak protection, retention, and digital rights management. Trusted worldwide by Global 1000 enterprises, educational institutions, government organizations, and service providers, it also includes Signority, a Canadian e-signature and document workflow platform.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based systems and applications
• Ensure applications are responsive, scalable, and optimized for performance
• Analyze code proactively and propose improvements
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications with minimal supervision
• Identify and resolve technical issues independently
• Document designs, test cases, processes, and specifications
• Provide regular updates on progress and issues
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders
• Participate in peer code reviews for quality assurance
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices
• Learn new technologies quickly and apply them
• Identify process improvements and efficiency gains
• Take responsibility for personal skill development

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, accountable
• Ability to work independently remotely
• Understanding of back-end tech : Java, Tomcat, Apache, Nginx
• Experience with API development and integration (REST, GraphQL)
• Familiarity with Git
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have :

• Experience with MySQL
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI / CD
