Job summary
A leading manufacturing company in Canada seeks a Shipper/Warehouse worker to manage material handling, operating forklifts and ensuring safety in the shipping yard. Candidates should be experienced with large loads and capable of working in various weather conditions. Opportunities for training and certification in forklift operation are provided, along with competitive compensation ranging from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour.
Qualifications
- Experience with heavy lifting and outdoor work required.
- Must be organized, energetic, and take ownership of the shipping yard.
- Training and certification for forklift operation will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor forklifts for loading and unloading.
- Inspect trailers for safe operations.
- Communicate with admin and drivers for logistics planning.
- Maintain an organized yard and complete necessary paperwork.
- Understand and comply with safety programs.
