Job summary
A public education organization in Milton seeks a Classroom Assistant to support students with severe learning disabilities. The role involves collaborating with teachers to provide individualized programs and assisting students with their work in a multi-disciplinary setting. Candidates should have a community college certificate related to child education and current CPR/First Aid certification, along with experience in educational settings. This is a temporary on-call role with hourly pay ranging from $24.61 to $27.14.
Qualifications
- Community College certificate and/or equivalent training in a child-related field.
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Demonstrated experience implementing academic and behavior management programs.
Responsibilities
- Work with students with severe learning disabilities.
- Assist teachers in providing individual and group programs.
- Support students within the classroom with assigned work.
