A local construction company in Edmonton is looking for an experienced Estimator with a background in home building. This role includes reviewing drawings, preparing detailed cost estimates, and collaborating with project managers. The ideal candidate will have at least 1+ year of experience and strong knowledge of construction methods. The position offers a competitive salary, Monday to Friday schedule, and benefits including paid time off and healthcare provisions.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Estimator with a background in home building to join our team and play a key role in the success of our projects.
- Minimum1+ year of experiencein home building companies
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Review drawings to assess project scope, complexity, and build requirements
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for residential garage and garden suite projects
- Track and manage all estimate documentation, including revisions and cost breakdowns
- Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to align estimates with client expectations and timelines
- Adjust estimates throughout the project lifecycle as designs and scope evolve
- Generate project progress and cost tracking reports
- Ability to create or interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with local permitting processes and building code requirements
- Experience with estimating software and project management tools (Asana)
